The Yacht
We are recruiting for a professional Sole Chef to join a stunning new 35m private/charter vessel. This is an exciting opportunity to join a program from the ground up, with the vessel scheduled to deliver at the end of July. The yacht will cruise the Mediterranean for the summer before heading to the Caribbean and Bahamas for the winter season. The program is primarily private for an active, health-conscious family, supplemented by a maximum of 12 weeks of charter per year.
The Principals
The owners are a young family who are new to yachting and eager to build a long-term, professional team. The Principal is highly involved in the nutritional direction of the vessel and seeks a collaborative relationship with the Chef. The household focuses on a clean, organic, and "zero-process" lifestyle.
The Culinary Brief
The focus is on Longevity and Wellness. You will work closely with the Principal to plan menus that are vibrant, seasonal, and strictly health-oriented.

Dietary Profile: Organic, fresh market produce only. No canned or processed ingredients.

Preferences: Lean protein (Fish, Chicken, Eggs), abundant salads, and vegetables.

Wellness Program: Daily preparation of ginger/turmeric shots and detox juices is a core requirement.

Family Style: Simple, healthy meals for the children (grains, proteins, healthy carbs). While the diet is generally low-carb (sweet potatoes over refined grains).
Candidate Profile

Experience: We are looking for a professional with previous yachting experience and a history of working with similar private families. A background in nutrition is highly advantageous.

Attributes: The ideal candidate is highly organised and enjoys the family-oriented nature of the vessel. You must be a team player who provides nutritious, high-quality meals for the crew as well as the guests.

Requirements: STCW, ENG1, and Food Hygiene Level 2. Must be comfortable with a dual-season itinerary and international travel.
