TYS Recruitment is seeking a Sole Chef for a 50m Private US flagged vessel based in Florida

- Must be a green card or U.S. passport holder due to the Flag
- Male chefs are preferred due to cabin arrangements.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of solid yachting experience on vessels of a similar size. They should be able to cater for a wide variety of cuisine styles as both the guests and crew enjoy variety in the dishes provided on board. Ideally , you will have experience catering for 12 guests and 9 crew members.
The guests enjoy both fine dining style of dishes as well as more relaxed family style. This is a great private program offering stability with a great crew longevity on board the vessel. They are looking for a chef who is a team player and who can seamlessly fit in with the fun healthy and active crew on board.
You will be joining a fantastic team led by a hands-on Captain and supportive owners who enjoy family time.
The role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team with an average of 4-5 months of guest usage per year, but it could be more. There is a need to be adaptable from more casual trips to more formal service. The vessel is typically busier during the winter season.
The crew environment is close-knit and supportive, with some of the crew living on board and others living ashore with their families.
The vessel's cruising itinerary usually includes Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and the Bahamas.
