TYS Recruitment is seeking a Sole Chef for a 55m Private MY currently located on the West Coast of the USA.

- Male chefs are preferred due to cabin arrangements.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of solid yachting experience on vessels of a similar size. They should be health-oriented and treat the crew’s food with the same level of care as the guest’s food, aiming to provide impressive meals for the crew. The owner places significant emphasis on the well-being of the crew and wants the best for them while onboard. There are no formal meals for the owners but will be focussing on big hearty chopped salads, plenty of fish, and fresh bread.
The galley is fully equipped with all appliances, and the interior team also helps out in the galley.
The family onboard is a laid-back American family of 6, with children ranging from teenagers to mid-20s. They all enjoy a relaxed and friendly program with the crew, which includes a lot of fishing and surfing. The family recently purchased this vessel and is expanding the crew for this larger vessel. The HODs and Captain have had incredible longevity onboard.
The owners highly value a friendly and personable crew onboard and enjoy an informal atmosphere. The vessel is currently located in California but will travel to the Caribbean and the Mediterranean in 2025.
