Role Description:
This is an amazing opportunity to work for a Dutch family who has been chartering 40-70m Motor Yachts for over 20 years. They have fond memories with previous crews and are looking for a Stew to work in their home, take care of the interior, and spearhead the creation of a boutique-style interior with fresh flowers and beautiful decor.
As the Household Service Stew, you will have the opportunity to work in a team with a Michelin-star chef and be responsible for managing and leading all service operations independently, including creative table settings with fresh flower decorations. Other responsibilities will include maintaining the ambience of the house, greeting guests, ensuring the smooth running of daily activities, and you will be responsible for seasonal decorations, such as Christmas décor.
You will be serving all meals daily, including regular business lunches and dinners, sometimes with 8-10 guests.
The role requires someone with at least 2-4 years of yachting service experience, who enjoys working independently. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and confident demeanour. Attention to detail, outstanding time management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service are essential for success in this role.
The family of 3 maintains open and comfortable communication with their staff, ensuring a loyal and respectful working environment. No housekeeping or laundry skills are expected, but exceptional service skills.
