TYS Recruitment is seeking a Rotational Sole Chef to join a busy 41m Private/Charter M/Y.
- Joining Location: Mexico
- Start Date: February 20th
- Salary: $6,000 p/m (+ charter tips)
- Leave: 10 weeks on / 10 weeks off rotation
- Experience: 1–2 years on charter yachts of similar size
- Visas: B1B2 mandatory
- True non-smokers and non-vapers
- Female (due to cabin arrangements)
- PBL2 and tender-driving experience a bonus
We are looking for a positive and experienced Sole Chef who thrives in a dynamic charter environment. You should be confident with provisioning and menu planning, particularly in remote areas, and have a strong ability to prepare a variety of cuisines, including Asian, European, and American. Proficiency in cooking fresh seafood is a must.
The yacht is currently in Miami but travels extensively. You’ll join the vessel in Mexico for boss trips that are focused on fishing and diving, cruising between Mexico and Belize between October and May. The yacht then moves to the Bahamas for its charter season, which runs from June to October and has a strong history of successful charters.
The American owners are incredibly friendly and take great care of the crew. You’ll be joining a close-knit, international crew of nine who enjoy staying active, working as a team, and creating a supportive onboard environment.
