We are seeking a strong and highly organised Chief Stewardess with extensive charter experience, ideally accustomed to fast-paced, back-to-back charter programs. The successful candidate will demonstrate longevity in previous roles (minimum of 2 years), strong planning ability, and a calm, high-energy approach that supports seamless rotational handovers.
Key Requirement: Must be confident with APA management, charter planning, and themed event execution, particularly for family-focused charters. Candidates must enjoy working with children and be enthusiastic about creating engaging, creative onboard experiences.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a very stable and professional program, partnering with a long-standing Rotational Chief Stew who is highly regarded onboard. The vessel is seeking someone who aligns naturally with the existing structure, pace, and standards, ensuring consistency for owners, guests, and crew.
The interior department consists of four stews and is exceptionally settled, with no anticipated crew movement. The Chief Stew will lead service, oversee training, and work closely with the Captains, who are highly experienced, safety-focused, and supportive of their Heads of Department. Respect for hierarchy and clear communication are essential.
Service is casual with structure. Silver service is required, with no buffet service. Wine service is minimal, while mixology and evening cocktail service are key focuses. The program includes frequent themed nights, crafts, and family-style events, with the owners enjoying creative and energetic charters.
The owners are a kind American family who value their crew and enjoy entertaining. Typical charters are family-oriented and fun, with generous budgets to create memorable guest experiences. The yacht operates a busy charter schedule in the Caribbean and Bahamas, with plans to transit through the Panama Canal, operate on the West Coast, and continue world cruising in 2027.
You will be joining a program with excellent longevity, professional leadership, and a collaborative team culture that values consistency, kindness, and high charter standards.
