The Yacht Stew Academy is seeking an experienced Interior Trainer to join our team on a fixed-term basis, covering maternity leave.
This is a part-time, remote role (up to 10 hours per week) suited to an experienced Chief Stew or senior interior crew member who is passionate about mentoring and supporting the next generation of yacht professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mark student assignments across all TYSA courses (24-hour turnaround target)
- Provide clear, supportive feedback and guide students through resubmissions where needed
- Conduct enrolment and career guidance calls with prospective students
- Support students throughout their learning journey via email and mentorship calls
- Manage the student inbox and maintain organised communication
- Issue course completion certificates
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Chief Stew or senior interior HOD
- Confident communicator, both written and on calls
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working remotely
- Passionate about training, mentoring, and supporting crew development
